Mobile masts safe? Science disagrees

I REFER to Dr Peter Moore’s article today, suggesting that mobile phone masts are safe.

Is he aware that in 1971 the US Naval Institute referenced 2,300 research articles claimed that continuous/ modulated microwave irradiation caused cancers (particularly childhood) and neurological disorders? This was from low-level microwave studies from the 1950s.

In 2003, a 19-page international report was published, listing 130 childhood cancer clusters around transmitters for mobile phones. During my address to Welsh Assembly members in 2006, I cited a further 47 such clusters. Our MPs have four times tried to address this in Parliament.

The mobile industries’ own research, a worldwide study known as Ecolog, found cellular and DNA damage from their own transmitters, in adults and children. This was reproduced by Dr G Carlo, again for the industry, in 2007. This was another international multi- millionpound epidemiological study. I would like Dr Moore to inform all of us what the safe level of microwave irradiation is for an infant — because the World Health Organisation doesn’t know. In fact, I lecture on this topic worldwide and I have yet to find one single person who has published a safe level of microwave irradiation for any child.

The problem is that with immature immune systems, cell division disruption, protein synthesis disruption, soft bones etcetera, I believe children are particularly vulnerable to microwave irradiation, as are some electro-sensitive adults.
