Mobile phones are a part of life and so are the antennas, base stations and wireless networks that support this technology. But now the potential dangers of radiofrequency electromagnetic fields have been highlighted by the World Health Organisation’s Cancer Research Agency, the IARC. It warns of potential carcinogenic hazards and increased risk of a malignant type of brain cancer associated with wireless phone use.
